PROBLEM & SOLUTION

Your Dynamics GP holds years of data. Dumping it into Excel turns it into noise.

Without Datawalt
FRx / Management Reporterslow and rigid

Reports that take forever and don't adapt to what the business needs today.

Company databasesnot consolidated

Several GP databases per company but zero consolidated view.

No migrationto a new ERP

You don't want to leave Great Plains, but you need modern BI now.

With Datawalt

WARP normalizes your data. BI visualizes it. Agents query it. Heuristics predicts. All in one platform.

It's not just a connector: it's the full Datawalt ecosystem live on your Dynamics GP in days, without migrating.

THE MODEL, NOT THE CATALOG

Closing the year moves your entries to another table.

Great Plains splits every module in two: open and history. A report that reads one half is incomplete by design.

Your history does not stop at the last year-end close.

At year-end close, GP takes the row out of the open table and puts it into history (the red line) and the same happens in sales, receivables and payables. A connector pointed at the open table loses everything before the close; one pointed at history cannot see the current year. Either way the report looks right and is wrong, and the business finds out in January. We read both and join them, so your year-over-year comparison still exists the day after the close. And since each company lives in its own database, we consolidate them without you assembling anything.

Frequently asked questions

We connect securely and read-only straight to your Dynamics GP SQL Server. We read both the open and the history tables of each module (GP moves your entries from GL20000 to GL30000 at year-end close) and we join the group's company databases into a single model. We do not modify your installation or interrupt your operation.

We support GP 2013, 2015, 2016, 2018 and current versions, over SQL Server on-premise or Azure. If your GP runs on SQL Server, we connect it.

Yes. Instead of rigid, slow reports you get interactive, always-current Power BI dashboards: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, sales and inventory over your GP data.

Yes. We consolidate several Dynamics GP company databases into a single dashboard with views by company, group or business unit, with automatic financial consolidation.

Yes. The connection is read-only using credentials you control. We never write to your Dynamics GP or alter your data.
